Good People Behind the Wines

We share a pursuit of making great wines and a passion for the culture and conversation around it.

With the simple intent of making delicious wines for sharing with friends and family, Angela Vineyards was launched by the Beck family in 2006 in the small town of Carlton, Oregon. Today, our team hails from three continents, bringing a range of experiences and expertise to this ambitious project. Aligned in our values, together we craft a portfolio of wines that are the best expressions of this special place in the Willamette Valley, and share them with our community in thoughtfully designed spaces with inspired hospitality. We are dedicated to a legacy of sustainability for future generations and in giving back to our community. Get to know us.

Heath Payne

Viticulturalist

As our Viticulturist, Heath is responsible for year-round management of over 360 acres of vineyards, farmland, and forest. Having experience in both vineyards and the cellar, Heath is dedicated to regenerative farming using an organic and biodynamic farm program, eliminating all herbicides, and expanding the species of plants grown to support polyculture and native habitats and species. He believes in the strong connection between the vine, surrounding habitats, the hands that labor in the vineyard, and the wine that is made, and applies the ideas and his passion to the farming practices he creates at Angela Vineyards.
